This contract will consist of repair, installation, and betterment of town-owned streetlights, specialty lights, floodlights, including underground service conduits, on an on-call time/materials basis. Modifications or capital improvements to any existing or new locations may also be performed, as directed by the Department of Public Works or their designee(s) under this contract. The scope of capital improvements shall include but not be limited to the installation, removal and/or relocation of Town owned streetlights. The labor costs associated with these projectsshall be billed according to the contract rates established for electricians and laborers and all materials. The Town of Longmeadow completed an audit of streetlights in 2020 which included the upgrade of streetlights to LED fixtures which was completed in 2020.
