Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the City of Boston’s intent to procure technical application management services and support for its PeopleSoft ERP as it is currently configured and as it may evolve in the future through the expansion of functionality or the addition of new modules. Under our current structure we have outsourced many of the duties of the Technical Application Management Team to a third-party. Specifically, the Technical Support Manager, two DB2 Database Administrators and two out of three PeopleSoft Administrators are provided by a third-party. The City will continue to be responsible for procuring and installing all the hardware and ancillary software to support the ERP, including but not limited to the IBM Mainframe, the DB2 database, and other infrastructure components. It is the City’s desire to explore all staffing models with regard to dedicated versus pooled resources working onsite, remotely, or a hybrid of both. It is important that your proposal be specific about which of these models you are offering and what specific services you are referring to when proposing something other than a full onsite technical support team.
