MBTA’s intention is to select systems that provide best price/performance ratio and partner(s) that will meet the MBTA’s requirements and demonstrate the ability to grow with us in the future. Cybersecurity solutions may be: Cloud based or terrestrial (off-site or on-site) Hardware, software or virtual. Cybsersecurity solutions must: Be easy to implement, maintain and upgrade Be capable of taking inputs from the many technological sources across the MBTA Be able to automatically update attack signatures methods and techniques Include free online instruction for users, if applicable Included in-depth administrator courses available via the web Provide dashboard and web based monitoring capabilities.
