Inviting sealed bids from reputable and qualified school bus transportation companies for the transportation of students of the District to various schools in Hamilton and Wenham. Interested transportation companies may submit a bid to provide student transportation services pursuant to either ALTERNATE A, by diesel and/or gasoline buses for a contract term of three years beginning 7/1/25 and ending on 6/30/28, or ALTERNATE B, by electric buses for a contract term of ten years beginning 7/1/25 and ending 6/30/35, consisting of an eight-year base term with two additional one year options. Interested companies may submit a bid for either Alternate A or B or both. The District will evaluate bids received and determine which Alternate is in the best interest of the District and, upon such determination, the Regional School District may award a contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for the selected Alternate.
