The Town of Abington as the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids for the demolition and removal of structures from a parcel located within the Town of Abington as described in the photos and specifications attached. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30 Section 39M inclusive. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the complete demolition of a two-story wood-framed structure (measuring approximately 2,400 square feet), including all associated foundations and slabs, underground utilities, and the removal and lawful disposal of all demolition debris. The work shall also include backfilling of all resulting foundation and excavation areas with suitable, clean fill, placed and compacted in accordance with industry standards, and the placement of topsoil sufficient to restore the site to finished grade and ready for future use.
