General: Contractor shall be responsible for all materials, and labor necessary to provide and install (2) Versatec 300 Compact Horizontal Water Furnaces. Electrical, Duct, Fire Alarm, and Condenser Water Isolation of existing heat pumps will be completed by Facilities Management staff. Proposal for installation of WSHPs shall include roof deck removal, installation of equipment sized roof hatch, rigging operations, suspension mounting from steel trusses with vibration isolation, ductwork modification and reconnection. One existing heat pump shall be abandoned in place. The other existing heat pump shall be removed via crane by vendor. Location of existing equipment is an attic mechanical space. Access limitations require the installation of an equipment sized roof hatch to serve this project and future service needs. Due to location and accessibility constraints, attendance at the pre-bid walkthrough is highly recommended. Work to Include: Removal of appropriate section of roof to accommodate approved roof hatch. All rigging operations. Vendor to provide crane, pick plan, and necessary permits. Installation of Bilco L-50TB (or appropriately sized and thermally broken alternative) Unit installation, including mounting/suspension/vibration isolation Ductwork modifications and inlet/outlet connections Sealing of all duct penetrations relating to installation
