The MGC seeks to select and contract with a multidisciplinary research team, including but not limited to experts in survey research, econometrics, informatics, psychology, economics, community engagement, and other social sciences who are knowledgeable about the gambling industry and/or its impacts, to commit to detailing and implementing the research agenda which connects to existing research, explores the impacts of the changing gaming landscape in Massachusetts, and is prescribed in the gaming act. Specifically: The selected respondent(s) will collaborate to oversee, evaluate and/or perform discrete tasks of a multi-year, multi-method, multi-disciplinary, multi-phase comprehensive research project on the economic and social impacts of casino gambling and sports wagering in Massachusetts as described in this RFR.
