Specifications include, but are not limited to: Service will be on an as needed basis. WSU anticipates roof snow shoveling to be necessary when thesnow accumulates to approximately 24” on the rooftops. Once called, the contractor must respondwithin 24 hours.Contractor may be asked to provide snow removal services in areas other than roofs, such as sidewalksand walkways.Contractor shall follow all OSHA requirements for roof fall protection and /or any otherapplicable regulations such as worker exposure to extreme weather conditions. Contractor shallprovide proof of worker training.Contractor is responsible for providing all safety equipment for its workers and training on itsproper use.Contractor shall not use any portable roof railing installed by the University as a means ofanchoring for fall arrest/protection.Temporary roof railing systems may not be removed, altered or relocated without theUniversity’spermission.
