Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow removal and salting of Bridges' sidewalks and other locations on an as needed basis; The contracted vendor shall clear the snow and or ice and spread salt. Salt shall be supplied by the City; The Contractor shall be capable of: SNOW-Clearing Sidewalks of Snow and Ice; Application of Salt during and after a snowfall or as directed by the Superintendent of Buildings and Bridges. The vendor may be asked to work, before during and after the snow fall in order to spread salt before the snow fall, (pre-treating). To clear the snow and to spread salt during the snow fall in order to make the bridge's sidewalk safely passable to pedestrians and during or at the end of the storm if needed.
