Main Campus Services i. Provide requested equipment and labor to assist University Facilities staff with snow removal, de-icing, and pretreatment operations in parking lots and other designated areas. ii. Provide all necessary labor, equipment, fuel, and transportation to support University snow operations. iii. Contractor-owned and/or rented equipment must be properly maintained and safe for use on University property. Rubber-tipped plows are preferred but not required. Safety precautions must be observed at all times to protect staff, students, visitors, and property. iv. Upon arrival, the Contractor’s on-site supervisor shall check in with the University’s Head of Grounds (or designee) and provide a list of deployed equipment and staff. v. Services shall be performed on an as-needed basis, as determined by the Head of Grounds (or designee). vi. Contractor may store equipment on campus with University approval during the winter season (October 1 – April 1). vii. Contractor must respond to campus within one (1) hour of initial call, with appropriate staffing and equipment.
