Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work covered under this contract will consist of snow plowing, snow clearing, and snow hauling to designated locations. All operations will take place during either daytime or overnight hours, one day to several days after a snowstorm has ended and street plowing has been completed, and at the determination of the Commissioner or their designee. The Contractor will be required to furnish trucks, front-end loaders, grad-alls, bobcat or skid steer loaders or equivalent sidewalk clearing equipment, excavator, tracked dozer and other equipment, as specified on pages 13, 14 and 15, suitable for snow plowing, snow hauling and snow clearing, together with the necessary drivers and/or operators for the same, on an hourly rental basis. The work is to be carried out per these specifications and such instructions as may be issued from time to time by the City. Depending on the type of operation the Contractor will be tasked with clearing and/or removal or snow from bus stops, pedestrian ramps, roadway curb lines and intersections. Work will be determined prior to the start of an operation however the City may request additional clearing, hauling and removal work when required. The contractor will be expected to complete additional work.
