This bid includes milling 1.5 inches of existing blacktop on Silverbrook Road from the beginning of pavement on Route 57 to the end of existing blacktop, approximately 2,700 linear feet and 18 feet wide. Install a 1.5-inch bituminous concrete leveling course and a 2-inch top course, with tack coat applied between layers at a rate of 0.07 gallons per square yard. Offset the centerline of the roadway 4 to 8 inches and construct wedge joints. The bid also includes fine grading and compacting approximately 900 linear feet by 14 feet wide of unpaved roadway from the end of existing blacktop to the Fox Road/Silverbrook Road intersection. Apply calcium at a rate of 1 gallon per square yard. Furnish and install a 2-inch binder course and a 2-inch top course, with tack coat applied at a rate of 0.5 gallons per square yard. Offset the centerline 4 to 8 inches and construct wedge joints.
