ROOFING OF CUPOLA ● Strip existing roof materials ● Replace rotted boards if/when found ● Supply and install new drip edge ● Install 100% ice/water shield on roofing surface, WR Grace, or approved equal ● Install new architectural shingles [GAF timberline 30 year warranty], or approved equal RECLADDING EXTERIOR OF CUPOLA ● Replace railing system with PVC at top of the cupola ● Remove and Replace gable vents ● Remove existing siding and trim on cupola using RRP lead safe practices ● Install new vapor barrier per manufacturer specifications ● Install window tape on all vents ● Install proper flashing on all protrusions ● Install PVC trim on all vents ● Install PVC trim on all fascia and rake trim ● Install fully vented PVC soffit ● Install PVC corner boards ● ALL PVC trim to match existing trim details [or similar in style] ● Install prefinished premium siding product ● Install all PVC trim with cortex screw and plug system ● Install all PVC trim at all roof intersections (2” roof clearance) ● Install manufacturer approved caulking ● Install paint on all cuts ● Install blocks on all lights, vents, etc. ● All materials to be installed per manufacturer’s specifications ● Owner will supply lift rental ● Submittals for siding, trim, corner boards, gable vents, ice/water shield, and roof shingles to be submitted and approved by owner
