The City of Methuen Economic & Community Development Department (City) is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to prepare a National Register of Historic Places Nomination and supporting documentation for the Searles Estate Historic District. This Request for Quotations stipulates the procedures and requirements to be used by the City in its selection for consulting services. The project will be divided into three phases, to be completed over a nine-month period: ❖ PHASE I – Prepare: Draft photos, draft sketch map, draft bibliography, draft datasheet. ❖ PHASE II – Submit Draft National Register nomination for the Searles Estate Historic District – one set of all digital materials must be sent to MHC and another to the City of Methuen. ❖ PHASE III – Complete National Register registration form for the Searles Estate Historic District, in electronic and hard copy. One set of the nomination is submitted to the City of Methuen and one set is submitted to MHC. Presentation outline of nomination for the State Review Board (SRB) meeting (to be scheduled within one year of completion date for project).
