2. The contractor shall provide daily bus transportation services for The City of Gardner parochial school students to and from home and school, between schools for school activities, for field trips and athletic trips that take place during school hours, early or emergency release runs. Transportation will be provided for 180 days whenever those days occur for the school district normally falling in the period August through June. 3. The contractor will be required to furnish a sufficient number of buses to satisfy the daily transportation needs of The City of Gardner. The anticipated number of buses required during each school year by the City of Gardner is as follows: Ten (10) 77 passengers or greater regular transportation buses will be required during each school year by Gardner Public Schools These measurements are based upon conventional and transit school buses with seating capacities of 77 passengers or greater for The City of Gardner as indicated above. This contract shall include, at no additional expense to The City of Gardner, the marking of the buses in some manner such as designating as appropriate, on the side of the buses. The Contractor shall make buses available, at no cost to The City of Gardner, to each school two (2) times per year, as mandated by State law, as scheduled by the appropriate Superintendent or designee for bus evacuation drills.
