A. The Landscape Contractor shall provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete all landscape maintenance work as described herein with the exception of items that are explicitly identified in this section as being supplied by the Town. B. The Work of this Section consists of landscape maintenance as specified herein and includes, but is not limited to, the following. The work shall be divided into tasks required for regularly scheduled maintenance visits and tasks to be performed on an as-needed basis as requested by the Town of Brookline. Completion of all necessary tasks may require multiple days to complete, but would still be considered one visit. 1. Removal and disposal of all weeds, vines, grass, and dead plants or flowers from shrub beds and flower beds; 2. Return by raking engineered wood chips to fill any depressions under swings, slides, glide bars etc. 3. Trim and remove any exposed weed control fabric or other object that may be a tripping hazard. 4. Removal and disposal of all leaves and debris; 5. Mowing of all grassed areas directed; 6. Edging of lawn areas; 7. Pruning of shrubs and small ornamental trees; 8. Placing mulch to be provided by the Town; 9. Seeding with seed to be provided by the Town; 10. Incidental planting of annuals, perennials, vines, groundcovers, and shrubs with materials to be provided by the Town; 11. Placing/raking of sand and processed wood chips provided by the Town at play areas. 12. Hand shoveling/blowing/plowing for snow removal. 13. Sweeping/blowing of all paved areas (including mulch, sand, debris washouts).
