1) DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW The Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School District seeks to contract with a qualified School Business Management Service to support the district’s administrative and financial operations. The selected vendor will provide professional expertise in school business administration, including but not limited to budget development and monitoring, financial forecasting, procurement oversight, grant and end-of-year reporting, and overall Business Office support. The vendor must work in close coordination with district leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. All services provided under this contract must comply with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, which governs the procurement of supplies and services by local governmental bodies. The awarded contractor will be expected to uphold high standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability while delivering fiscally responsible and efficient support services to the district. 2) SCOPE OF SERVICES a) Reporting Services i) Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience with MUNIS & demonstrate a strong history in financial software transitions. ii) Provide timely, accurate monthly financial reports to individuals with budget authority (a) i.e., School Committee, Administrative Leadership Team, Department Heads, etc. iii) Generate custom financial reporting in formats specified by the Superintendent-Director (a) i.e., Monthly Budget Reports, Grants & Revolving Account balances, Expenditures & Receivables by funding source, etc. iv) Assist in the development & monitoring of annual operating budgets & multi-year financial forecasts. v) Monitor cash flow & advise on best practices for fund management. vi) Oversee reconciliation of accounts & coordination with external auditors.
