The following Questions and Answers are provided:
Q1- the raised concrete structures with clean out caps pose a risk to snow removal as they are protruding much higher than the walking surface. Damage to these may happen but we plan on posting high visibility cones on top of the structures. Is this acceptable and I do not feel as if any normal wear and tear should be the contractor responsibility. Your thoughts? Also due to the time of the year staking the property may not be possible due to the frost in the ground already. Please note this makes it slightly more challenging for snow removal efforts.
A1: Yes post high visibility cones. If you damage structures you are responsible to repair. You can also stake the property but it may not be possible due to the frost in the ground already.
Q2- The back half of the building is all stone with small areas of concrete. Will the contractor be responsible for re grading after the winter/sweeping of the roadways and concrete? If so cleanup should be on a time and materials basis.
