Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), “Optimizing Efficiencies Utilizing Technology for Scheduling In-Home Service Delivery for Home and Community Based Services in Massachusetts.” EOEA seeks to solicit information from a broad spectrum of interested parties to better understand how technology can assist in linking Home Care consumers with aides employed by Home Care Providers. Ideally, the technology would utilize Geomapping to locate services requested in a general area, providing Aging Service Access Points (ASAPs) and Home Care Providers a visual map for streamlined scheduling. The technology would have the capability to integrate data from ASAPs that are supported by EOEA, and in turn promote more efficient options for Home Care providers and their workforce. Interested organizations are invited to provide EOEA with information, feedback, and comments regarding the topics outlined in Section 4. EOEA will use the feedback collected through this RFI to inform a potential future procurement for identified technology supported by ARPA HCBS funding. The potential future procurement would be an opportunity to bid on the services described, and how the identified technology could be utilized by the ASAP and Home Care Provider Network throughout the Commonwealth.
