1. Review existing design documentation for the smoke control system and codes at the time of installation to determine expected system performance and design parameters. 2. Create a smoke control retest program. This re-test program will be kept in the fire command center and will detail the sequence of operation, testing procedures, and historical results. 3. Coordinate, schedule, and lead smoke control systems semi annual functional testing. Perform functional verification that the systems are performing correctly in automatic and manual modes. All testing to be performed after regular business/ school hours. 4. Witness a certified air balancer contractor measure and record semiannual performance testing of the system during the contract period. 5. Document the test results of the tests in the smoke control retest program. 6. BPS will supply Electrician/Generator Technician, Fire Alarm Technician, and Elevator personnel. All other testing personnel to be supplied by the testing company. 7. Winning bidder must provide training and instruction of operation of smoke control systems to BPS Personnel. Training not to exceed eight (8) hours.
