The summary of work includes all labor, materials, and equipment for the oil tank vent pipe replacement of the Sutton Public Schools as described below, and as required by Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MA DEP). The summary of work shall include but not be limited to the following. GENERAL Procure local fire department permit, any permits/approval fees will be handled on a time and material basis. Provide temporary safety barriers around the work area for the duration of our project. Saw cut, hammer, and legally dispose of as much concrete and asphalt necessary to safely complete this scope of work. In addition, the removal of a portion of the UST pad approx. 3'x6 and up to one hundred (100) sf of asphalt. Any additional surface coverings will be handled on a time and materials basis with agreed upon rates. Remove and legally dispose of the existing vent line, extractor tee, and tank top manhole. Furnish and install one (1) new 3" common fiberglass vent with the appropriate riser, extractor tee, and vent stand. Furnish and install clean backfill for under, around, and on top of the new piping and then backfill the remainder of the trench with native material if its suitable for reuse. Furnish and install one (1) 18" manholes over the vent riser. Restore the disturbed sections of the UST pad using 8" reinforced concrete, minimum 4,000psi, to match the dimensions as listed above. Furnish and install up to one hundred (100) sf of asphalt using a 4-inch system (2" base/2"top). With edges blended. Restore the landscaping by spreading out loam and grass seed. Coordinate with a third party testing company for the required pretests of the UST system and final testing required per 310 CMR 80.
