Specifications include, but are not limited to: Service will be on an as needed basis. WSU anticipates roof snow shoveling to be necessary when the snow accumulates to approximately 24” on the rooftops. Once called, the contractor must respond within 24 hours. Contractor may be asked to provide snow removal services in areas other than roofs, such as sidewalks and walkways. Contractor shall follow all OSHA requirements for roof fall protection and /or any other applicable regulations such as worker exposure to extreme weather conditions. Contractor shall provide proof of worker training. Contractor is responsible for providing all safety equipment for its workers and training on its proper use. Contractor shall not use any portable roof railing installed by the University as a means of anchoring for fall arrest/protection.
