This specification section is for the turnkey exchange of spent Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) with new virgin GAC as follows: The winning bidder shall follow their approval letter from DEP for PFAS removal for installing GAC. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and overall supervision for the removal, transportation, and disposal of spent Granular Activated Carbon (GAC). Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and overall supervision for the supply, and installation of virgin GAC into the filters. Quantities: o First change out (Round 1): Sargent WTP 2144 cubic feet of Virgin GAC or otherwise 4’ of GAC per filter. There are two total filters. o Second change out (Round 2): Sargent WTP 2144 cubic feet of Virgin GAC or otherwise 4’ of GAC per filter There are two total filters.
