Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) The Contractor shall furnish Labor, Equipment and Materials required removing and disposing street sweeping debris which may include, but is not limited to, the following items: – Dirt and Dust – Road sand and salt – Small pebbles, rocks – Glass, broken bottles, bottle caps, plastic bottles – Leaves – Paper cups, paper bags and plastic bags – Cigarette, butts, cigarette packages – Cardboard, paper, etc. b) This contract does not include clay removal. c) It is the Contractor’s responsibility to screen the sweeping materials and properly dispose of the debris. d) The Vendor must provide documentation of disposal. A receiving slip from the disposal site, itemized by the weight/volume of the load(s), will satisfy this requirement. e) Street sweeping materials will be located at a specific location within the City, such as the Public Works Yard at One Franey Road, or another location to be determined at the discretion of the DPW Commissioner or Designee. The Vendor will come to the designated location upon request to pick up and haul away street sweeping materials. f) The minimum tonnage could be as little as one half (½) ton, dependent on DPW storage capacity. g) The Vendor will conform to all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations. A certified letter from the disposal site will be required upon contract award.
