The "work" shall consist of Wastewater Pre-Treatment System Services in harmony with the Town of Lexington and all applicable departments. This includes evaluation of the existing systems, understanding the design specifications for the original systems, and ensuring compliance with local, State, and Federal regulatory requirements. This contract also involves on-going evaluation of the influent to each wastewater pre-treatment system to determine the specific treatment needs; and based on the influent assessment and available technologies, evaluate possible repairs, modifications, or alternatives to the existing systems that will meet the applicable regulations while optimizing future operational needs and maintenance costs. The awarded bidder will be responsible for maintaining appropriate levels to comply with local, state, and federal wastewater regulations. This also includes Quarterly maintenance, Data Recording and Analysis, and Reporting. The awarded bidder will be responsible for ensuring wastewater being discharged meets local, state, and federal regulations, and will be responsible for the pre-treatment of wastewater.
