Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Nantucket, through its Public Works Department, is requesting quotes for Irrigation System Monitoring Services. Contractor shall provide labor, equipment and material to start-up the various Town owned irrigation systems in the spring and subsequently, to winterize each of these systems late in the fall. : Contractor shall Issue a price based on the following: SPRING - start-up shall complete with spray head adjustments to ensure complete ground coverage and set appropriate timer settings for early season MID-SEASON - 3 clock adjustments (June, July August) based on weather. In July run through each system, checking/adjusting heads as needed. EARLY FALL – preferably late September times adjusted for fall weather. Coordination with Parks and Recreation Manager to any special watering needs. (seed germination) LATE FALL – System shut down, blow out and winterization.
