Specifications include, but are not limited to: BELMONT MUNICIPAL LIGHT DEPARTMENT The Belmont Municipal Light Department (Belmont Light) is soliciting bids for a new utility billing, financial accounting, and information system. Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the General Manager, Belmont Light, 40 Prince Street, Belmont, MA 02478 no later than 2:00 PM, November, 6 2014, at which time they will be publicly opened. The Request for Proposal and specifications may be obtained in hard copy form from the Office of the General Manager at the above address or electronically by emailing ERP@belmontlight.com as of October 2, 2014, and up to November 4, 2014. Belmont Light reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is in the best interests of the Town to do so. Bidders are advised that contracts of municipal light plants are exempt from the general procurement procedures of G.L. c. 30B, and by issuance of this RFP, Belmont Light does not intend to submit this procurement to the requirements of that chapter of the General Laws.
