Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Boston is seeking a partner to add programming to Fisher Park on City Hall Plaza. The north and east areas of City Hall Plaza and the North Stage will be undergoing a renovation project that will begin this year and continue through 2024. This renovation will turn our seven-acre space into a more welcoming, accessible space for all, featuring new civic spaces for events and areas for families to enjoy together. Over the last three years, the Plaza space was revitalized through a partnership with Delaware North to include shops, a skating rink, pop up events and the addition of a beer garden in Fisher Park on City Hall Plaza. Delaware North submitted the most advantageous proposal to our Request for Proposals (RFP). We also added food trucks, temporary seating and lawn games to bring life to the plaza. Through this RFP, we are seeking a partner to build on this momentum. This partner, who would work closely with the City, would have the opportunity to add new programming and new temporary amenities to Fisher Park on City Hall Plaza over the next three years. We will select the partner who has the best combination of a strong team, compelling vision, and feasible plan to work with us to make Fisher Park on City Hall Plaza an even better, year-round destination for residents and visitors alike. We are also seeking a partner who can accomplish these goals in a manner that is at least cost neutral for the City.
