Specifications include, but are not limited to: Is the intent of the State of South Carolina, Materials Management Office, to solicit fixed price bids for the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind for providing early intervention services to families of children with sensory disabilities, family/client evaluations, and recommendations for future assistance in accordance with all requirements stated herein for the best plan to help the individual and family in an assessment and treatment plan. Parent Advisors are needed in all areas of the State in order to adequately service clients of the S.C. School for the Deaf and Blind. The school’s Early Intervention Program office shall select from the list of qualified parent advisors identified for each geographic area. No provider should be selected outside a sixty (60) mile radius of the local provider except in special circumstances.
