The successful bidder, whether an individual or an entity, will serve as the outside, independent Equal Employment Opportunity Officer (“EEO Officer”) pursuant to the House of Representatives’ Rule 89 for the remainder of the 194th Session of the General Court (through January 5, 2027). The EEO Officer will review and investigate complaints that allege a violation of House Rule 88, the House Anti-Harassment Policy, or the House Equal Employment Policy, including but not limited to complaints alleging discrimination, harassment or retaliation. The EEO Officer, in coordination with House members and employees specified in the House’s Rules, will also establish written policies and procedures for the investigation of complaints that reflect industry best practices for EEO-related investigations.
