The 100% design of the facility is complete. The new WTP building will include two air stripping towers, two down draft blowers, intermediate clearwells, intermediate pumps, and ten PFAS removal vessels using adsorptive media. Building components including HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, and electrical equipment will be incorporated into the new WTP. Additional work will include the site work, utilities installation, below-grade concrete tanks and foundation, masonry building, and finishes. Building Features: • Air stripping towers with down draft blowers. • Intermediate wetwell with intermediate pumps. • Per- and polyfluoroalkyl removal system. • Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system upgrades with appurtenant instrumentation for control of the new WTP. • Complete electrical system including interior and exterior lighting, control system interface and wiring, emergency lighting, and grounding. • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. • A fire protection system. • A building consisting of split face block, double wythe masonry exterior walls and interior concrete painted block. The facility will be secured physically with the use of chain link fencing around the entire property, gates, locks, intrusion alarming, cameras, and lighting. • Site work, including yard piping. • Stormwater collection system upgrades.
