Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Audiovisual Contractor's responsibilities include the following: 1. Procure all audiovisual equipment and ancillary hardware as indicated in the Bid Pricing Workbook. 2. Procure all necessary installation materials, including: low-voltage cabling, adapters, connectors, connection plates, mounting hardware, and any other materials not specifically listed in the Bid Pricing Workbook that are required for the completion of the Project. 3. Provide all equipment specifications and equipment manuals compiled, categorized and bound in alphabetical order. 4. Coordinate with the Architect and General Contractor to ensure that the installation of all electrical infrastructure required to support the audiovisual systems, including: electrical power, conduit, raceway, cable tray systems, back boxes, floor boxes, and CCTV drops meet the technical requirements of the audiovisual design. 5. Provide the Project Management labor necessary to interface with the Audiovisual Consultant, Client, Architect, and General Contractor throughout the course of the Project for the purposes of coordinating equipment procurement and deliveries, project schedules and all on-site and off-site labor necessary to provide complete and functioning systems. 6. Provide all shop fabrication labor necessary to construct and wire the equipment racks. Equipment racks are to be constructed off-site and delivered to the Project locations as fully built and tested units. 7. Provide on-site installation labor necessary to implement complete and functioning audiovisual systems for all locations. As this is an Open Shop worksite, the audiovisual contractor is to perform all of the onsite installation work using labor resources of their choice as required to provide complete and functioning systems. As such, installation labor quotes should include time for the installation of the following equipment: a. Low-Voltage Cabling: All low-voltage infrastructure cabling for the audiovisual systems is to be provided and installed by the Audiovisual Contractor. All low voltage infrastructure cabling provided by the Audiovisual Contractor is to be plenum rated. b. Structural Support Mounting Hardware: All flat-panel displays, projectors and associated mounting brackets are to be provided and installed by the Audiovisual Contractor. The General Contractor will install structural supports for the ceiling mounted devices and plywood backing in support of the flat panel display mounts. c. Ceiling-Mounted Speakers: All ceiling mounted speakers are to be provided and installed by the Audiovisual Contractor. This includes ceiling tile modifications, supporting chain, fastening devices and low voltage wiring connections. d. Refer to the Responsibility Chart on the Legend page of the AV Drawing Package for further clarification on the delineation of labor responsibilities.
