The Office of Economic Empowerment intends to offer virtual, hybrid, and/or in-person financial webinars and offer access to financial counseling and/or coaching sessions as part of the Worth & Wealth (W&W) financial empowerment webinar series. The sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss their personal financial questions in a one-on-one setting. The sessions will support the financial education offered through the weekly webinars and create pathways to increased financial capability. Access to coaching may be determined by a participant’s attendance at the W&W webinars, interest, and schedule availability of the provider and participants. Of particular importance is the provider’s ability to deliver information in an accessible and trauma-informed manner. An understanding of the diverse landscape and unique needs of Massachusetts residents and ability to communicate in both English and in Spanish is preferred. The overall costs for the sessions will be assessed regularly throughout the three to six month Worth & Wealth program. Sessions may continue to be offered based on available funding.
