Specifications include, but are not limited to: The winning Bidder shall provide the following services as part of this engagement: A. Conduct a detailed review of the Network Services and Security Services and provide a current-state financial and operational assessment of the Network and Security Services with a focus reducing costs and service optimization. 1. Include networks for MAGNet Campus WAN, Data Centers at 200 Arlington Street, Chelsea, One Ashburton Place, Boston and 53 Elliot Street, Springfield 2. Review of architecture and technology for ITDs Network and Security Services include network and security devices located in major data centers as well as ITD managed devices at agency locations Note: Current-state phase is not a network discovery or vulnerability assessment effort but rather an aggregation and assessment of existing information available. Network and security device information from SolarWinds, Tivoli network monitoring, and technology specific management tools will be made available along with policies document, service descriptions, maintenance and support contracts, organization charts and financial information for both the Network and Security Services. B. Provide detailed breakdown of cost associated with the Network and Security Services: 1. Include costs associated with WAN, Campus, and Data Centers provide a breakout for hardware, software, network service providers, support/maintenance services, and staff 2. Assessment of cost associated with the security architecture for Internet, data center, and agency sites analysis should include all technologies within the scope of security service (i.e. firewalls, DNS, IPS/IDS, etc.) 3. Identify projected out-year costs associated with Network and Security Services provide cost analysis for 1, 3, and 5 years) 4. Provide benchmarking assessment of current Network and Security Services costs against both private sector and other government organizations 5. Identify costs associated with Internet service providers and external support services
