2.0.1.1 Conduct site visits and meet with SHA staff to document existing camera locations, access controls and current network. 2.0.1.2 Designer shall identify and evaluate any alternative cost-efficient solutions. 2.0.1.3 Designer may be required to prepare a Project Phasing Schedule and specific specifications for the phasing tasks. Designer’s services for subsequent phased construction will be negotiated with the current design firm on an hourly basis. The SHA reserves the right to enter into an agreement with any other entity to perform these services if it determines it is in the best interest of the Authority. 2.0.1.4 Complete needs assessment with SHA staff to determine preferred location of existing and additional cameras and access controls. 2.0.1.5 Assess current network equipment and cabling and provide any upgrade or replacement recommendations. 2.0.1.6 Assess power sources and supply and recommend replacements or additional power needs. 2.0.1.7 Recommend minimum standards, quality and features for all equipment, cables and software. 2.0.1.8 Provide drawings with the layout of devices and equipment, mounting details and connections. 2.0.1.9 Provide specifications and installation requirements that will include, at a minimum: a. Identification of door, building or area by number and building location. b. List of equipment to be installed at each location with minimum required standards c. Installation instructions including any applications and wiring. 2.0.1.10 Provide estimated cost of equipment and installation for budgeting and bid phase.
