Specifications include, but are not limited to: Monthly (at minimum) tutoring roster reports (provided directly or via evaluator secure website) of tutoring sessions delivered, including frequency, duration, name of tutor, student participants. Data from a pre and post assessment of each student tutored, as agreed upon by the Department. The tutoring vendor will provide their own assessment. The selected evaluator will be responsible for keeping the Department updated regarding the completeness, quality, and timeliness with which the tutoring vendor provides the data. To facilitate this, the evaluation team is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Maintaining regular communication with the Department and the contracted Math Tutoring vendor around any issues with provision, organization, formatting, and quality of the data collected by the vendor and collaborate with the Department and vendor to adjust as necessary. With the Department’s support, provide guidance and/or direct tutoring vendor to the Department on legal and security issues (such as informed consent, The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, and the Massachusetts Fair Information Practices Act) related to collecting the necessary data for the analysis outlined in the other sections of this contract. Organizing and maintaining a dataset of students served to be shared with the Department to facilitate possible future analysis. Obtaining, as available, from the vendor of the Department approved pre-post assessment data (note this is a requirement for the vendor).
