Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is committed to supporting the process of monitoring Level 4 schools where districts are partnering with turnaround operators. As part of this commitment, the Department seeks consulting support from prequalified educational service providers (approved under Alternate ID #13ATAKJ1) to successfully achieve its purpose to provide state-sponsored turnaround monitoring work to schools at the high-need end of the accountability system. The goal of the project is to ensure that monitoring keeps not only the Commissioner but also the operators and districts apprised of the progress of these schools. The process is designed to highlight school needs and areas requiring focus, as well as to highlight where the operators may need to adjust their approaches to prompt the schools to achieve the level of change required of them.
