Specifications include, but are not limited to: seeking information from entities that currently provide mental health & substance use treatment in Middlesex County, Massachusetts and which can assist the University and its Commonwealth Medicine division in determining the feasibility of a new service model; The Restoration Center pilot program is intended to provide an entry point into appropriate Behavioral Health Services for individuals, 18 years old or older, who are experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis, especially as a diversion from criminal legal system involvement or emergency department utilization. The Commission’s goal is to develop a successful Restoration Center model that multiple vendors can replicate across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in future years.
