Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Vendor must be in compliance with COVID-19 Order No 53 issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on November 6, 2020 related to mandatory safety standards and recommended best practices https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-state-of-emergency#reopening-protocols-&-business- restrictions- 3. This Invitation for Bid contains three sections. Vendors may bid on one or all of the sections but must submit a price for all items within a section. 4. Vendor agrees it will remain open 24/7 in all weather conditions, including but not limited to severe storms and blizzards, unless providing the services would subject it and its employees to undue risk of harm, unless evacuation order is in effect or unless events out of its control occur (such as loss of power). 5. Vendor must be able to provide services with twelve-hour notice. Subsequent meals during the same storm event will require six-hour notice. 6. Due to the likelihood of difficult travel conditions, Vendor must be located within a 30-minute driving distance from Department of Public Works, 147 Hampshire Street. 7. Vendor must have the ability to deliver and have City pick up food at City’s option. 8. Delivery may occur up to thirty minutes prior to scheduled time but no later than fifteen minutes after scheduled time. 9. For pick-up services, vendor will organize individual meal packages in groups for pick-up by City district supervisors, (who will then distribute individual meals). The City will provide the number of groups and meals when placing the order, and vendor must follow COVID-19 Protocols when providing individual silverware and packages. 10. Approximately 200+/- units per meal. Minimum of 50 people per meal; maximum 250 per meal.
