Maintenance manuals for each type of Equipment must be provided by the Contractor to the University. • Contractor shall maintain all Equipment in accordance with the recommended maintenance schedule of the manufacturer. • Contractor shall replace water hoses every 3 years or earlier if signs of damage or corrosion are detected by Contractor or the University. Hoses must be metallic reinforced. Contractor shall perform preventative maintenance, inspect and certify that all equipment is in working order and cleaned (both inside and in the back of equipment) prior the start of each semester (August and January). All preventative maintenance, inspections, and certifications shall be done at no additional cost to the University. o Preventative maintenance shall include, but is not limited to: Check all hoses and vents for wear and tear or functionality problems Inspect all machines for issues such as missing lint filters, dry soap residue, or water in the tub Assess door gaskets and drum belts for damage or wear Ensure that all machines are functioning properly Replace any parts, belts or hoses as needed Check the connection to utilities.
