Specifications include, but are not limited to: installation of a temporary ADA ramp over a portion of the existing stairs at JFK Plaza, located at approximately 50 Arcand Drive, Lowell MA. The Base Bid is described below: A temporary aluminum ADA ramp shall be installed parallel to the eastern landscape wall, with the crossing located over the southern side of the concrete stairs at the JFK Plaza. The ramp and ramp footings are to be designed by the Contractor. The ramp shall be designed so that it is independent of the landscape wall and stairs. Ramp footings shall be located only in the brick walkway. The uppermost ramp section may rest upon the top granite capstone step, but footings may not be located within the stairs. Brick sidewalk shall be removed and reset in the location of the ramp footings.
