Specifications include, but are not limited to:. Fairmount Station supports MBTA Commuter Rail Services. The Contractor shall ensure that each employee has MBTA Commuter Rail Roadway Worker Protection training. B. This Section specifies the provisioning of Security Upgrades at the specific locations shown on the Contract Drawings. The security system shall include real time video, access control, and call box systems that work in conjunction with the existing VidSys system and existing MBTA CCTV System. Refer to the Contract Drawings, and these Specifications, for the details of the Work. C. The video system data shall be stored in a new central storage bank at the primary MBTA storage location for 30 days at 8FPS. The storage/server appliances shall be 48TB Pivot3 vSTAC Watch units configured with Windows Server 2008. The Contractor shall provide Pivot3 vSTAC Watch units to accommodate all cameras on the project with sufficient storage and processing according to the video management system (VMS) manufacturer’s best practices. The Contractor shall include with their bid the storage and processing calculations, and indicate the total number of vSTAC Watch units required; the Contractor shall provide a line item with price for the supply and installation of the vSTAC Watch units needed. The Contractor shall assume 2Mbps stream rates in their calculations. The live and recorded streams from all cameras shall be connected to the VidSys System via the VMS system over the Security Wide Area Network (SWAN) for viewing and display. The MBTA shall have the option to not implement this item and retain the line item amount.
