It is the intent of this RFR to select a Provider to provide a remotely hosted VoIP unified communications style phone solution to provide the MSBA with a voice communication platform which is reliable, user-friendly, flexible, and secure. The MSBA’s primary objectives in considering this solution include the following: • A robust voice system that is fully hosted which provides a soft phone feature for inoffice and remote users which is streamlined and user-friendly. • A seamless and time sensitive implementation and porting process • A proven technology platform which is conducive to emerging technology advancements • Platform which intuitively enables the client admin to make necessary end-user configuration changes; The Provider should, at a minimum, provide the following features: 1. Ability to communicate over our existing 1000M Comcast metro Ethernet circuit 2. Assignment of OUR DIDs and internal phone number extensions must maintain the current mapping and association with users. 3. Ability to provide a web dashboard to create/track support tickets, track billing, make feature change requests and easily administer assignment and changes to user extensions. 4. A softphone feature for all users, plus the ability to obtain VOIP enabled desk phones from you as needed. 5. Installation, documentation and training must be provided. 6. Digital/Analog converters should be available if needed for analog devices such as fax machines and POTS phones. A fax to/from email feature should also be an option. 7. Reporting capabilities to view/track utilization rates, and other reporting as deemed appropriate. 8. Unlimited system upgrades to user and admin interfaces and features as they become available including a technology outlook and/or roadmap. 9. Unlimited access to 24/7/365 customer support desk. 10. Additional features that would enhance the overall platform.
