a) Analyze monthly claims and periodic utilization data to develop reports and recommendations concerning financial trends and identify possible cost containment and benefit modification strategies. b) Monthly report to track paid claims and develop report to track claims at 50% and above the reinsurance limit with stop loss insurer in accordance with the requirement of the Town's reinsurance policy and/or Town's request. Ensure that the reinsurance carrier has recovered funds and submitted reimbursement to the Town for all claims in excess of specific deductible. Prepares high claims report and census for Town's issuance of reinsurance request for quotes. c) Consulting services concerning all aspects of group health and employment benefit services, including but not limited to: Monthly cash flow summary report to the Town Finance, administration, legal matters. Annual renewals and budget projections Assist Town in negotiating with other health insurance carriers over alternative plans. Other employee benefits, including Medicare Part D subsidy program and IRS Section 125 and/or 129 administration.
