As directed by the HPC, Contractor’s responsibilities may include work in the following areas: Quantitative Analytic Services - Advising the HPC on the merits of different quantitative analytic approaches to assess the adequacy of health care resources relative to health care needs; Using relevant state and national data sets to conduct robust epidemiological, actuarial, statistical, and/or economic analyses to: Quantify current health care need, health care demand, and health care utilization separately by service line and/or at multiple geographic units and estimate the current capacity of resources available; Make appropriate adjustments to account for related factors such as potential overuse and underuse of health care resources, geographic accessibility of care, including using measures of distance, travel time by car/public transportation, and other factors; Identify gaps in need and capacity; Identify disparities in need, access, or other factors by race, ethnicity, income, disability status, and other available demographic variables; Project future health care need, including by using epidemiological data, demographic data, and utilization data, and considering potential impacts of shifting technology, policy, and standards of care; and Providing other quantitative analytic services as may be requested by the HPC...
