Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove existing shingle roof system down to wood deck and dispose of same. 2. Remove existing gutters and down spouts. 3. Remove all roof louvers and install 22 gage sheet metal plats over openings. 4. Install new F-8 drip-edge. 5. Install GAF ice and water shield at all valleys, rakes, eaves per manufacturer’s specifications. 6. Install #30 felt for remaining area. 7. Install starter strips at all eaves. 8. Install GAF Timberline ULTRA 200 LB architecture shingles (color by owner). 9. Prepare and cut out 2” openings at all ridges. 10. Install new GAF Cobra Snow Country exhaust vent. 11. Install GAF Timbertex ridge cap shingles at all ridges and hips. 12. All flashings to be done according to manufacturer’s specifications. 13. Cover existing rakes and eaves with new .032 6” seamless gutter and 3”x4” down spouts. 14. Inspect and repair existing chimney. 15. Furnish GAF System plus limited warranty. 16. The contractor is to provide a safety zone around the building. Must provide either fencing or caution tape around the perimeter. 17. The contractor is responsible for daily debris clean up and removal. 18. The contractor is responsible to provide adequate power as required to run any power equipment. No gas cans will be allowed on roof. 19. Provide contractor’s workmanship warranty for one (1) year and material manufacturer’s thirty (30) year system warranty. 20. Contractor will restore the site to its original condition upon completion of the work.
