A. The contractor shall be required to supply a work force large enough to complete the work requested by the WHA in a timely manner with the least amount of disruption to the tenant. The contractor shall be on call 24/7 and shall provide the name(s) of key personnel and contact number(s). B. The work must be started immediately and must be completed without interruption. Failure to address the work as quickly as possible will result in the termination of the contract. C. The contract term shall be for one year period. During this one-year period the contractor shall be “on call” on an as needed basis at the discretion of the WHA. Once called by the WHA to perform work, the contractor must respond within 24 hours and begin work. All work performed will be in occupied apartments or common areas. The selected contractor will be periodically assigned work orders for day-to-day maintenance and repairs. Examples of work order items include but are not limited to any and all work required in the particular trade contract. D. The bid amount shall include the cost of bonds and insurance as stated in the General Provisions and all labor & materials (unless otherwise specified) to be paid at the Mass Prevailing Wage Rate as provided in these documents. E. Contractor payments for completed work shall be on a monthly basis. The contractor shall invoice the WHA for the work completed and accompany the invoice with completed certified payroll forms for the work. E. Security. The contractor shall coordinate with the WHA Maintenance Director, or designee, for access to all WHA rental units. Security for the unit while the contractor is working in it shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
