construction of a 16’-8” x 7’ x 12” engineered concrete wall anchored on a proposed 16’-8” x 12” x 3’ footing that is to be anchored into the existing 6” thick slab. The proposed concrete wall runs north/south 37’-2” from the inside of the west wall and to be anchored into the existing southern concrete wall of the Greenfield Transfer Station located at 86 Cumberland Road, Greenfield, MA. Also, to have an existing 10’-8” x 12’- 7” x 5’ conveyor pit filled/patched with concrete to a depth of 8”. This new pour should be anchored to the existing slab. The conveyor pit is currently filled with gravel. The proposal shall be all inclusive, including preparing the project area for construction, constructing the proposed concrete wall, fill/patch the conveyor pit, post construction cleaning of the construction site, and removal of unused materials. The proposed engineered concrete wall is to be located inside the building on the east side of the recycling containment area which is in the southwest corner of the building.
