Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Operational Assessment – the proposer shall undertake procedures to establish the current status of Yarmouth’s golf operation. These procedures shall establish the baseline of current practices, policies and procedures, from which recommendations for change or improvement can be made. Minimum Deliverables: • Written report on the consultant’s operational assessment establishing our baseline practices, policies and procedures and overall recommendations for improvement. To be completed within three months from the date of award. • On-site meeting to review the assessment and conclusions reached. 2. Strategic Planning – based upon information gathered from the operational assessment, the proposer shall provide for developing an overall strategic plan for the Town’s golf course operations and provide advice and specific action steps for implementation. Ongoing advice and consultation should be provided to ensure the strategic plan and action steps are being implemented timely. The plan, at a minimum, should address and include steps on how best to: a. Establish and implement a guest-centric culture among our staff and across the golf operation. b. Establish and implement revenue maximization and related monitoring practices. c. Integrate operations with marketing and revenue enhancement practices. d. Provide for administrative and financial reporting policies. e. Utilize the 9-hole links course as a strategic benefit for the golf operation versus other potential Town use
