Specifications include, but are not limited to: Notice is hereby given that the Town of Spencer is seeking sealed bids for the seasonal requirement of Gasoline and Diesel fuels to be used for general work by the Town of Spencer in Fiscal Year 2024, July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. A. Gasoline shall be lead-free with an octane of not less than 89 (eighty-nine) w/ 10% Ethanol as specified by the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations. (Bid Item #A) B. Diesel Fuel – Ultra Low Sulfur Highway Diesel Fuel, required for use in all model year 2008 and later highway diesel vehicles and engines, as specified by the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations. (Bid Item #B) C. Diesel Fuel w/ winter additive suitable for use in central New England winter weather and temperature conditions. (Bid Item #C) Note: All gasoline and diesel fuel shall meet all federal and state requirements for motor fuel, applicable environmental standards, standards of the American Petroleum Institute and the requirements of all automotive, truck and heavy equipment manufacturers.
